Minneapolis police say the suspect described in the sexual assault of a St. Catherine’s University student was arrested in St. Paul on Tuesday.
The student was allegedly attacked last week while walking along a path in Riverside Park where she was forced into the woods and sexually assaulted.
According to a news release, 48-year-old Louis Richard Oliver (aka Terry Woods) was reportedly approaching women outside Regions Hospital on Tuesday when police were notified.
Ramsey County deputies noticed a resemblance between the suspect and a sketch released by police on the same day.
Oliver was transported to the Hennepin County Jail and is being held for first degree criminal sexual conduct.
