Oh, dear: ‘Donna the deer lady’ makes unforgettable radio show call

Bemused radio hosts of Y94 FM in Fargo chuckled through a recent call (listen below) from a woman who is convinced that deer-crossing signs are there for the deer – signals to the animals that certain spots in the road are safe for crossing.
The sincere-sounding woman says she can’t understand why highway officials would direct deer to cross busy roads and wants them moved to lower-traffic areas. The hosts gently tried to set her straight, to no avail. “Why are we encouraging deer to cross the interstate?” she asks.
