Minnesota’s answer to Loch Ness Monster surfaces at Lake Nokomis
Minnesota News | June 7, 2013
A creature that has a striking similarity to the Loch Ness Monster is surfacing again at a lake in the Twin Cities area.
WCCO-TV reports that Minne the Lake Creature, is sticking her neck out again this summer at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis.
Since the Minne was first spotted four years again in Lake Harriet, she’s moved on to the waters of Lake of the Isles, Brownie Lake and Powderhorn Lake.
Minne has developed a faithful social media following on Facebook and Twitter, and in a message tweeted Friday, she appears to like her new home.
Thank you, @meetminneapolis. Water temps are…refreshing! I will be in #LakeNokomis for the entire summer.
